Bob Keefer has been practicing law in Virginia since 1983. Over the last more than 30 years he has routinely appeared in Harrisonburg, Staunton, Woodstock, Luray, Waynesboro, Rockingham County, Augusta County, Page County, and Shenandoah County to represent his clients. Bob has handled thousands of traffic cases, both reckless driving and driving under the influence. You can see his reviews here: Google Reviews, Avvo Reviews & Birdeye Reviews
Bob has completed the IACP/NHTSA Certified Field Sobriety Instructor Course. Bob has the same certification that the person who taught your police officer should have had but probably did not. You would be surprised how many people think that the standardized field sobriety tests are impairment tests. They are not. Instead, these tests are scientifically designed to show a probability of a blood alcohol content in excess of the legal limit.
Bob has also completed the DOT Certified Breath Technician course on the EC/IR II, Virginia's new evidential breath tester. In order to properly represent a Virginia DWI client the lawyer has to know the breath test machine. Bob has written articles published on the Internet about the problems with the EC/IR II. Bob is also the only lawyer in Virginia who has his own EC/IR.
